This site gets me more and more angry every time i go on it. There are so many great artists on here, and the only ones that get recognized are the half naked models, the anime, the soft core porn, the fanfics...none of it is original, and the photography of nudes isn't even tasteful. It's all cutesy "hehe! i'm sexy and and a little bit goth, a little bit girly girl!". it's really disgusting. the anime is horrible, it's not even an original style. it's all so repulsive. since i can't get anyone to agree with me on this, and all that ever happens is me getting flamed, i'm leaving this site. My art does not belong here. It's not perverted enough, sexy enough, fake enough, good enough. I came here for constructive criticism. not this crap. I never received any kind of constructive criticism here so theres no point in me being here. if you care to see my art you can get a hold of me somehow.
oh, and I totally agree with the journal post. It's just about everything you said it is...

I agree with you. I have the same issues with this site. Now it's more for me to see my friend's works quickly and for me to keep a record of some of the better things I think I do.... although I haven't done a good job of really keeping record here. lol.
I'm not going to be a part of this anymore.
